While some solutions use off-the-shelf computer equipment which is not designed for 24/7 use, the system utilises an industrial-quality miniature system which mounts on the back of an LCD monitor, Plasma screen, or other display device. It requires no external computer to be stowed taking up valuable shop space. It has no moving parts or fans and thus suffers none of the normal wear problems of inferior systems using conventional computers designed for desktop use with wearing parts.
